The Story

Where the
signal started.

An artist collective for live entertainment: musicians, comedians, potters, filmmakers, and anyone else who can hold a room.

Live is the one thing
a feed can’t fake.

Anyone can post a clip. Way fewer people can hold a crowd, like actually get a bunch of strangers to stop scrolling and stop talking for one whole set, one song, or one piece getting finished right in front of them. Honestly, that’s the thing we think matters most right now.

Palm Radio exists to find the people who can do that, wherever they are and whatever they play, and give them a real place to do it. No algorithm. Just a stage, an audience, and a show that actually happened.

How a show works

Pop-ups, not
a venue.

Palm Radio shows are pop-up events. We don’t have a home room, so a show can land almost anywhere: a coffee shop, a patio, a gallery, a run club, or a spot you’d never expect. The place changes. The point stays the same: real people, live, in the same space.

Starting local,
on purpose.

A signal only travels far once it’s strong at the source.

1

Local

A small founding team in one city finds local artists (any kind), gives them a stage, and runs the first shows. It all starts here.

2

Your city

If it works, other cities start their own Palm Radio and run their own shows. Want one where you are? Email us or find Palm Radio on LinkedIn.

Where we are

Different places.
One palm.

One collective, one name, and every city and region with its own sound: live bands in Orange County, EDM in the Inland Empire, and everything in Los Angeles. Each place brings its own sky and its own ground.

Let it breathe

Every show has
its own light.

What counts as live

If it happens in front of people, it counts.

01

Sets

DJs and producers playing it out, live, for the room in front of them.

02

Bands

Real instruments, real volume, mistakes and all.

03

Dance

Dancers working with the music, or against it. Ballet and opera too.

04

Comedy

Stand-up, sketch and improv, with a crowd that's close enough to laugh in your face.

05

Drag & cabaret

Drag, burlesque and variety, in the room with the people watching.

06

Magic & circus

Magic, acrobatics and spectacle, close enough to see how it's done.

07

Theater

Plays, musicals and stage shows.

08

Spoken word

Poetry, storytelling and readings, no stage fright required.

09

Everything else

Whatever else is live. Pitch it to us.
